Key Responsibilities
Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and manage detailed project cost baselines, budgets, and cash flow forecasts.
Cost Monitoring: Track daily/monthly project expenditures (labor, material, equipment) and compare against budget, ensuring compliance with contract terms.
Variance Analysis: Identify, analyze, and report on cost variances, providing actionable recommendations to management.
Procurement/Contract Support: Collaborate with procurement to analyze material/service costs and validate subcontractor invoices.
Reporting: Prepare, analyze, and submit accurate monthly cost reports and MIS reports.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, or Accounting.
5–10 years of experience in cost control, preferably in EPC/construction.
Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced MS Excel.
Strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure.
Key Metrics: Project cost variance, budget adherence, cost-to-complete forecasting.
