Job responsibilities of Deputy Manager - Stores

  • Responsible for ensuring supply chain operations (Receipt, Storage and Distribution of goods)
  • Ensure material optimization projects plant level for better material utilization
  • Responsible for achieving sleek inventories by minimizing slow/nonmoving stocks
  • Responsible for deriving root causes and implementing action towards reducing material stock Variance.
  • Following standard operating procedures as per ISO standard
  • Responsible for ensuring effective Training and development of the workforce
  • Responsible for enhancing skill level of the employees through which achieving higher efficiencies.
  • To plan and carry out all scrap Sales activities as per the system and procedures.
  • Effective control of day to day operations at all project sites and O&M locations.
  • Plan and allocate staff/Operators for if any new assignment given by management
  • Control of documents and records
  • Project Site store Mobilization & De-Mobilization activities.
  • Ensuring Implementation of Store Controls & SOP across the project store.
  • Ensuring conflict resolution by discussing with other cross functional department.
  • Processing Scrap disposal of project stores as per defined SOP.
  • Circulation of HO Stores MIS , Monitoring and compliance.
  • Responsible for Monthly Stores transaction reconciliation & Closing as per defined process.
  • Responsible for monitoring of Physical Asset Verification / Physical Material Verification
  • External / internal Auditor compliance after review with HO stores Head & Team
  • Coordination with Site Project stores, Site PIC to understand & resolution of project stores issue.
  • Discussion & Review with HO stores head & Regional Head.
  • Proper storage of construction material as per preservation manuals.
  • Periodically review the GRN, Goods inward register & another document for Correctness.
  • To ensure proper issue and reconciliation of the inventory physical as well as in system/books
