Position Summary
|
|
Lead the Quality function for Advanced Technology Facilities (Data Centers, Semiconductor, Cleanrooms, Advance Manufacturing Units), ensuring strict compliance with client specifications and global standards through end-to-end quality assurance across tendering, Engineering, Supply Chain, Execution, Erection and commissioning, while driving first-time-right delivery, strong governance, vendor quality, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement across all projects.

Responsibilities

- Define and implement QA strategy for ATF (Data Centers, Semiconductor, Cleanrooms, Advance Manufacturing)
- Align quality systems with business goals, client specs, and global standards
- Support tendering with risk identification, constructability inputs, Lessons Learnt and cost optimization
- Prepare Tender Quality Plan and Quality Budget
- Develop and deploy Project Quality Plan, ITPs, Cleanroom & commissioning quality protocols
- Ensure readiness and mobilization of specialized QA resources
- Establish and drive audit programs (internal, ISO, client) and compliance systems
- Monitor site quality, inspections, testing, and critical ATF parameters (cleanliness, environment control)
- Ensure First Time Right execution through robust QA planning
- Oversee vendor quality, source inspections, and material compliance
- Lead and guide site quality teams; standardize practices across projects
- Track quality KPIs, analyze trends, and drive corrective actions
- Ensure timely NC closure with effective RCA & CAPA by use of 8D/A3/5W/Ishikawa tools
- Manage customer interactions, complaints, and resolution
- Lead quality reviews, governance forums, and project oversight
- Drive CAPA, lessons learned, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Build quality capability through training and best practice deployment
- Drive Kaizen, PDCA, FMEA, Six Sigma projects
- Drive Quality related training and development programs at every Site
- Ensure Supplier Qualification, Inspections and development programs
- Knowledge of IS/BS/ASTM/ASME/EN/ISO etc.
- Must be able to engage with global customers/ consultant and bring agreed solutions

Experience & Education
|
|
Qualification – Engineering Degree (preferably Mechanical/Electronics / Electrical/ Any other relevant experience). Additional qualifications in terms of M. Tech, MBA with relevance of above will be added advantage.

- Certification in Clean Room
- Lead Auditor for QMS/EMS/HSE
- NDT Level II/ Lev III in UT/PT/MT/RT/VT
- Welding technology
- Painting experience and qualification NACE Level II/III or relevant certification e.g. BGas
- Black Belt/ Green Belt certification
- Basic knowledge of Civil Engineering construction
Experience – Minimum 20+ years’ experience in quality management (5 years minimum in Data Centre/ Semiconductor/Adv Manufacturing each or min 2 of them)
