Position Summary

We seek a Mechanical Engineer to manage, operate, and optimize mechanical systems in a mission‑critical data center environment. This includes HVAC (CRAC/CRAH), chilled water systems, pumps, valves, cooling towers, compressors, fuel systems, and mechanical infrastructure within white spaces and plant areas.

 

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

      • Pre-commissioning tests: Alignment, lubrication, flushing, leak testing
      • Functional testing: Checking pumps, compressors, HVAC, piping, etc.
      • Performance testing: Ensuring systems meet design capacity and efficiency
      • Safety checks: Pressure tests, vibration analysis, interlocks
      • Final commissioning: Trial runs under actual operating conditions

 

Experience & Education

      • Bachelor’s degree in electrical/mechanical engineering (B.E./B.Tech). 
      • 10-12 years of experience in data centers, critical facilities, industrial power systems, or large infrastructure projects. 
      • Experience with HT/LT power distribution and redundant power systems (UPM, PDUs, UPS, DG, STS, ATS). 
      • Familiarity with Tier standards (Uptime Institute), NFPA 70, IEC, IS Codes, and electrical safety rules.
