Position Summary
|
|
We seek a Mechanical Engineer to manage, operate, and optimize mechanical systems in a mission‑critical data center environment. This includes HVAC (CRAC/CRAH), chilled water systems, Chillers, pumps, valves, cooling towers, compressors, fuel systems, and mechanical infrastructure within white spaces and plant areas.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

- Should have expertise for overall HVAC System installation (Water & Air Systems)
- Basic understanding of design requirements and ability to read TDS, shop drawings, etc.,
- Operate and maintain CRAC/CRAH, Chillers, chilled water plants, cooling towers, AHUs, DX units, FRAC/IR units.
- Manage pumps, valves, strainers, pipelines, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, Ducting, Air distribution systems.
- Should have adequate knowledge in all Dx equipment like VRF, Hiwalls, etc.,
- Should have basic understanding of electrical wiring & BMS cabling works for powering mechanical equipment.
- Support BMS/DCIM integration, alarm management, trend monitoring, and system optimization.
- Should have detailed process understanding and execution of Air & Water TAB and commissioning of mechanical systems.
- Execute SOP/MOP/EOP; perform preventive & corrective maintenance.
- Should understand sequence of works and have collaborative approach with other trades following highest safety and quality requirements.
- Manage contractors, coordinate for resource deployment, QA/QC, documentation, and reports.
- Expertise in certification of subcontractor JMRs for processing their bills.
- Ensure compliance with ASHRAE, IS codes, NBC 2016, TIA‑942, and safety standards.
- Should have knowledge of HSD Systems, Fuel lines, DG Yard and their respective controls.

Experience & Education

- Diploma/BE/BTech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Data center or mission‑critical facilities exposure preferred.
- Strong understanding of HVAC, mechanical systems, and safety regulations.
