Shall responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership for the end‑to‑end execution and business performance of EHV/HV Transmission Line and Substation projects (132kV to 765kV) across both domestic and overseas locations.
The role is accountable for delivering high‑value, complex EPC projects within defined scope, time, cost, quality, and safety parameters, while driving execution excellence, stakeholder satisfaction, and sustained profitability. The incumbent will lead large multi‑disciplinary teams, manage complex stakeholder ecosystems, and strengthen execution governance across EPC transmission projects in diverse geographic, regulatory, and cultural environments.

Ensure on‑time commissioning and energization of transmission lines and substations, even under challenging conditions such as remote locations, difficult terrain, RoW constraints, adverse weather, and pandemic‑like disruptions

Drive delivery of projects in line with contractual scope, schedule baselines, approved budgets, technical specifications, and safety standards
Project & Portfolio Management

Ensure full compliance with local statutory regulations, grid codes, contractual obligations, and safety norms across domestic and international locations
Financial & Commercial Control

Own P&L responsibility for assigned EPC projects and portfolios, including revenue, margin delivery, cost control, cash flow, and collections

Drive contract administration, variation orders, claims, and EOT management to protect commercial interests

Establish robust project governance frameworks, including progress reviews, risk management, and executive decision escalation
Customer & Stakeholder Management

Act as senior interface with clients, utilities, consultants, lenders, JV partners, and statutory authorities

Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with utilities, EPC clients, and government bodies such as PGCIL, Sterlite Power, Tata Projects, Adani etc.
People Leadership & Capability Building

Lead cross-functional teams across projects, engineering, construction, quality, sourcing, and services.

Promote a strong EHS culture, ensuring full compliance with safety, quality, and integrity policies.
