Job Description – ELV / Security Systems Engineer (Data Centre)

1. Design & implement security systems for data centres, including CCTV, Access Control, IDS, perimeter security, physical security devices, and integrated security platforms.
2. Lead installation, testing, commissioning (FAT/SAT) of all security infrastructure—cameras, ACS panels, sensors, servers, cabling, and network configurations.
3. Integrate ELV systems with IT, BMS, DCIM, fire alarm, and network platforms, ensuring cybersecurity compliance.
4. Manage command centre setup, video walls, alarm workflows, VMS/analytics, and retention/storage strategies.
5. Ensure system redundancy, high availability, N+1/2N reliability, risk assessments, and uptime performance.
6. Prepare technical documentation—layouts, SLDs, cable schedules, IP schemes—and ensure compliance with TIA‑942, ISO 27001, NFPA, BICSI, ONVIF, and Uptime Institute guidelines.
7. Coordinate with OEMs, integrators, and cross‑functional teams; lead QA/QC, training, SOP/MOP/EOP creation, and client handover.
