Position Summary
|
|
Strong project management knowledge, responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining robust project controls systems and processes across all phases of projects, from initiation to closure. This includes planning, scheduling, cost control, risk management, MIS reporting and ERP systems.

Responsibilities
|
|

- Strong understanding of Primavera and with overall planning process and best practice on industrial or large projects. Must have exposure to resource levelling in Primavera.
- Proven experience of managing a team size of 20+ or more professionals.
- Must possess excellent team building, listening, problem-solving, and prioritization skills. Positive attitude, Leadership ability and Stakeholder management skills.
- Proven experience on managing project controls on multi-billion-dollar project
- Review of the progress and quality of the works, through biweekly/monthly site visits.
- Ensure the works are being carried out in accordance with the design and the construction contract, with special emphasis on the quality and suitability of materials and equipment.
- Ensure that there are no additional costs beyond those agreed with the client. Monitoring cost control and making changes to control records that could incur project cost overruns. Advising on design and construction changes.
- Managing the Overall Billing process (Tracking of BR and UBR's) ensuring the AOP's and PBT's
- Checking the progress of the project in general and the works in particular in accordance with the approved schedule.
- Implementation of corrective measures, in case of identified deviations from the program.
- Suggestion of timely recovery of deviations. Identification of potential risks associated with administrative procedures.
- Maintenance and review of the risk register on a monthly basis. In case of technical incidents that may affect the fulfillment of project objectives, preparation of the corresponding report, including recommendations to mitigate the effects of the mentioned incident.
- Issuance of a monthly report including all the above mentioned review and supervision activities, as well as their explanation and a photographic report of the works.
- PMP, PMI-SP, CCP, or CPE Certifications are desirable. 6+ years of experience in a leadership role in project controls in large EPC organizations.
- Ability to multi-task in a high paced project environment
- Experience with ERP system SAP, EDMS, EcoSys / Omega365 and Acumen Fuse is preferred.
- Experience with cost control including project estimating, forecasting and cost management including reporting.
- Experience in setting up, monitoring, controlling and forecasting the quantity-based field progress measurement system (FPMS)
- Construction experience with an ability to maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions in a construction environment.

- Postgraduate or master’s degree in construction / project management.
- Minimum twenty (20) years of experience in managing EPC projects specifically in the domain of project controls. OR
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, and 15-20 years’ experience.
