Position Summary

We are hiring a Fire Engineer for our Data Center to manage and operate all Fire Protection & Life Safety systems—Fire Detection & Alarm (FDA), Aspirating Smoke Detection (ASD), Gas Suppression Systems, Hydrant/Sprinkler systems, Emergency Lighting, and integration with BMS/DCIM. The role ensures compliance, uptime, safety, and readiness for audits.

 

Responsibilities

      • Operate, inspect, test, and maintain Fire Detection & Alarm (FDA) systems (addressable).
      • Manage ASD (VESDA), Fire panels, MCPs, detectors, sounders, interface modules.
      • Operate and maintain Clean Agent Gas Suppression (NOVEC/FM200/IG55/CO₂ monitoring).
      • Oversee hydrant, sprinkler, hose reel, pump room, jockey/diesel pumps, valves.
      • Conduct ITP, FAT, SAT, iCommissioning, and periodic statutory testing.
      • Maintain compliance with NFPA, IS codes, NBC 2016, and DC Tier standards.
      • Maintain logs, test records, PM schedules, and audit documentation.
      • Vendor & AMC management; perform SOP/MOP/EOP execution.

 

Experience & Education

      • Diploma/BE/BTech – Electrical/Mechanical/Fire Engineering.
      • Hands‑on with FDA, ASD, gas suppression, hydrants/sprinklers, pump rooms, BMS integration.
      • Preferred certifications: NFPA, Fire & Life Safety, OEM panels (Honeywell/Siemens/Notifier/Edwards)
