Position Summary
We are seeking a Fire Engineer (MEP) to manage and maintain fire detection, protection, and suppression systems in a mission-critical data center environment. The role ensures compliance with fire norms, system reliability, and 24/7 operational readiness.
Responsibilities
Maintain and troubleshoot fire systems: FDA, VESDA, Novec/FM200, sprinklers, hydrants. Conduct preventive maintenance, inspections, and system tests. Ensure compliance with NFPA, NBC, local fire regulations. Support audits, statutory approvals, and NOCs. Perform fire risk assessments, drills, and incident investigations. Coordinate with vendors, OEMs, and internal engineering teams.
Experience & Education
Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Fire Engineering. Strong understanding of MEP systems in data centers or critical facilities. Hands-on experience with fire alarm, suppression, and passive fire systems. Working knowledge of NFPA, IS standards, and BMS integration. Preferred certifications: CFPS/NFPA, Fire & Safety diploma, OEM training.
