Position Summary |
|
|
We are seeking an ELV Engineer for our data center to design, implement, operate, and maintain ELV systems including fire detection & alarm (FDA), CCTV, access control, PA, BMS (ELV scope), structured cabling, and system integrations (BACnet/Modbus/TCP-IP). You will ensure uptime, compliance, and seamless operations across critical environments.

Responsibilities |
|
|
Install, commission, and maintain ELV systems (FDA, CCTV, ACS, PA, BMS ELV scope, IPTV/Intercom, EPABX). Structured cabling (fiber & copper), patching, labeling, and documentation per data center standards. Integrate ELV with DCIM/BMS (BACnet/Modbus), perform root-cause analysis, and close incidents within SLAs. Conduct inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance; manage vendors and AMC contracts. Ensure compliance with TIA-942, Uptime Institute Tier standards (where applicable), IS/IEC fire safety codes, NFPA (as adopted), and local authorities’ requirements. Prepare as-builts, O&M manuals, SOPs/MOPs/EOPs, and handover documentation.
Must-Have Skills: Hands-on with Fire Alarm (e.g., Honeywell/Siemens/Notifier), CCTV (IP), Access Control, structured cabling, and ELV network basics. Familiar with BACnet/Modbus, TCP/IP, VLANs (basic), PoE, NVR/VMS, ACS controllers. Experience in data center or mission-critical facilities preferred.

Experience & Education |

|
Diploma/BE/BTech in Electrical/Electronics/Telecom. Preferred: BICSI, CCNA (basic), OEM certifications (Honeywell/Siemens/Johnson Controls/Lenel), NICET (Fire Alarm) equivalent, TIA-942 awareness.
