Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform structural analysis and design of various structures using STAAD, ETABS, Etc software tools and manual calculations.
• Prepare and review structural drawings, specifications, reports, and other documents for compliance with codes, standards, and client requirements.
• Coordinate and collaborate with other engineers, other disciplines, contractors, and consultants on project design, development, and delivery.
• Conduct site visits, inspections, and testing as part of the engineering co-ordination.
• Attending meeting with customer / clients and clarify their comments/doubts in designs or drawings, get approval for the designs and drawings.
• Identify and resolve any structural issues, risks, or challenges that may arise during the project lifecycle.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers, technicians, and other staff members.
• Keep abreast of the latest developments and innovations in structural engineering and related fields.
• Prepare Bill of materials for Civil, structural and architectural works. Must be aware of the thumb rules/industry benchmarks for review of the BOQs.
• Co-ordination with DEC’s and getting the engineering deliverables delivered on time with best quality and optimum designs.
• Arranging regular value engineering workshops, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Change management, claims identification and data collection/preparation for claims.
