Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create and modify 2D and 3D models of civil, structural & architectural engineering projects using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Tekla, etc.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure that the models are consistent with the design drawings, calculations, and specifications.
• Apply relevant codes, standards, and best practices to the models and ensure compliance with the project requirements.
• Perform quality checks and validations of the models and identify and resolve any errors, discrepancies, or conflicts.
• Update and revise the models as per the feedback, changes, or modifications in the design or construction stages.
• Prepare and deliver the models and related documents in the required formats and deadlines.
• Communicate and coordinate with the project team and stakeholders on the model development and progress.
• Keep abreast of the latest trends, technologies, and innovations in the field of civil and structural modelling.
• Preparation of fabrication drawings and review of fabrication drawings will be added advantage to the profile.

Skills and Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree or diploma in civil engineering, structural engineering, or related field.
• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in civil and structural 2D and 3D modelling using various software tools.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Tekla, or other relevant software.
• Familiar with the civil and structural engineering design principles, codes, standards, and best practices.
• Proficient in preparation bill of materials and candidate must have relevant experience.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects and meet deadlines.
• Ability to prepare BBS from rebar drawings.
• Experience in Power plants, FGD systems, Steel plant packages and Non-Ferrous plant structures is preferable.
