Job responsibilities of Assistant Manager - HR at project site :

Site H.R. Functions: -
 Co-ordination with all departments, maintaining good interpersonal relations.
 Joining formalities, Induction of new recruits’ workmen.
 Maintain Employee Data Base, Leave Records for Regular / Contractor employees etc.
 Recruitment of manpower as per the selection procedure of the company
 Coordinating with respective Departments Scheduling the shifts on weekly basis.
 Process full & final payment, maintain all further formalities & coordinate with employee.
 Issuing ID card to every workman.
 Ensuring Medical facility for each and every workman.
 Ensuring every workman and staff enroll in biometric system for smooth track attendance.
 Responsible for grievances related to attendance, leave, wages, and other administrative issues.
Salary Administration Functions:-
 Preparation and maintain of Wages, Over-Time, and Leave Register.
 Preparation of monthly challan of P.F. & E.S.I.
 Preparation of Half-Yearly /Yearly Return. (E.P.F. & E.S.I.)
 Preparation of Half-Yearly /Yearly Return under (CLRA, BOCW, MW Act)
 Preparation and updating of Bonus Register (Form-C).
 Maintaining the Leave and prepare the monthly salary statement with deductions. Preparing pay slip.
Industrial Relation / Compliance Functions:-
 Grievance handling, Domestic enquiries, Welfare of employees, Statutory / Non statutory compliances under various acts like: - E.P.F., E.S.I.C., L.W.F., CLRA Act etc.
 Licensing & Registration and maintain Returns & All Registers under
Contract Labour Act (R&A)-1970, B.O.C.W. Act-1996, Employees Provident Fund & Misc. Provision Act-1952, Employees State Insurance Act-1948, ISMW Act 1979, .
 Insurance like WC, GPA, CAR Policy.
 Liasoning with Government Authorities like P.F., E.S.I., BOCW, Fire, Police and Transport etc.
 Ensuring timely initiation and proper compliance of statutory requirements under various Labour laws.
 Ensuring disbursement of statutory minimum wages and review of skill grades and wage rates of warranted.
 Obtaining / generating and maintaining the requisite statutory records relating to attendance, overtime and earning of all workmen at the site.
 Ensuring that overtime work and its payment are in accordance with the statutory requirements.
 Implementing all rules, procedures, directives etc. applicable under various statutes, including those prescribed by the management.
 Handling the workmen grievance time to time & keep the record accordingly.
 Maintaining all the legal documents related to Labour License, rented land or office, and confidential files.
 Handling the union problem if any, also manage Local authority / local people for smooth working at site
 Assisting & updating Project Manager and Project Administration Head for day-to-day I.R. Situations of site.
 Responsible for applying Borrow area application and submit to concern department timely.
 Record updation for borrow area / royalties.
Administrative Functions:-
 Ensuring repair and maintenance of Building, Gen. Set and office equipment’s like Photostat machine, Fax machine, Fans & Air Conditioners and other assets.
 Managing facilities in the organization, include office infrastructure, Housekeeping, Security, Pantry (staff, Incoming and outgoing materials, ), Transport, etc.
 Responsible for submission of bills telephone, electricity, Hotel &Transportation.
 Booking travel tickets, Hotel rooms and arranging transports.
 Ensuring all other facilities been provided i.e.: Canteen, Toilets and Rest rooms hygienic drinking water first aid facility and ambulance.
 Identify land and guest house for staff and office.
 Ensuring all the vendors payment done timely for smooth administrative function.
 Ensuring all the CCTV camera running and everyday monitoring.  Ensure all regularly required stationery and printing material are available on demand and within the allotted budget.  Keep track of and ensure the misuse of stationery and printing material through maintaining inventory tracker  Arrange for snacks, food and beverages for special occasions like events, company guest visits or any outdoor event.
