Job Responsibilities of Manager - EHS at Project
Conducting site inspections, Health, Environment & Safety (HSE) in-house
training, compliance audit and risk assessment.
Developing Safety plans, conducting field safety survey & site inspections,
appraising subcontractors and implementing safe working systems.
Preparing documents/correspondence with the Government Departments;
assisted in formulating HSE Strategy/CSR work plans
Developing and maintaining a high level of awareness, conducting training
programs among all personnel through communications and promoting active
involvement of employees in EHS
Identifying & record keeping the hazardous waste and non-hazardous wastes
From pollution control board
Keeping self-updated on latest EHS developments
Setting Project Safety standards based on organization’s International Standards
(HSSE Control Framework); constantly reviewing safety Standards
Capturing unsafe activities, non-compliance and carrying out necessary CAPA
at regular intervals
Ensuring Risk Assessments, Safety Inspections and Accident Investigations
Performing Incident Investigation Analysis and taking corrective actions as
and when required
Assessing the projects through HIRA Studies, SIMOPS, Project Safety
Management Plan, Safety Aspects in Plant, Machinery & Equipment, Inspection
of tools tackles and safety in other mechanical & electrical equipment’s
Analyzing all safety & occupational health related injuries/accidents and
implementing all corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence of injuries &
incidents
Following the principle of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle and proper disposal of
residual and hazardous wastes
Ensure Zero fatality at project site
