Job responsibilities of Deputy Manager - Projects at Site
- Responsible for project planning, monitoring & execution the HTLS (High Temperature Low Sag) reconductoring project with ACCC Fortworth conductor ensuring adherence to projects schedules and deliver projects within allocated budgets.
- Responsible for managing a team of Engineers and Supervisors with assigning tasks to them, providing guidance and monitoring progress to achieve project objectives.
- Responsible for implementing strict adherence to quality standards and specifications, handling the turn-key contractors, Joint measurement certificate (JMC), MRHOV certification and bills processing in the project site.
- Responsible to resolve local issues, clearing ROW permission from landowners and negotiation of crops commercial compensation with farmers or local bodies for installation of transmission line.
- Regular follow up of project safety procedures with compliance of safety related activities at site on daily basis.
- Effectively managing project resources and optimizing resource allocation to meet project deadlines. Machine, Material, Manpower Planning (Daily, Weekly, Monthly basis) review it & submission of same to the management.
- Expertise in HTLS reconductoring techniques and industry standards ensuring the accurate implementation of projects and adherence to technical specifications.
- Maintaining of accurate project documentation, including technical drawings report and progress updates along with preparation of various estimates & made no of correspondences for both the customer and vendors for smooth completion of the project.
- Regular meeting with client on project progress or on various technical issues concerned with the project.
- Responsible to obtain NH crossing/Railway crossing/IWAI/Aviation/PTCC approvals with close coordination with the concern departments.
- Follow up Strategic planning of Sourcing Material of civil work.
- Estimation & costing of planned locations at daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly basis and submission to management for approval.
- Arrangement of Issuance of PO, Work Order and Finalize Contract along with Agreement of Sub vendors after evaluating the sub contractor & qualifying criteria by audit & document verification.
- Submitting for Approval of BBU, Time Extension Contract, Closing Contracts.
- Follow up of Project Safety Procedures. End to End Responsibility of the Project.
- Supervise the Erection Contractor, Site progress, Machinery deployment, Billing & Settlement the Payment.
