Project Procurement Manager – EPC Projects

Position: Project Procurement Manager
Industry: EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction)
Location: As per Project Requirement

Role Purpose

Lead and manage all procurement activities for EPC projects, ensuring timely sourcing, contracting, and delivery of materials, equipment, and services while optimizing cost, quality, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute project procurement strategies aligned with project timelines and budgets.
  • Manage end-to-end procurement activities including RFQs, tendering, bid evaluation, negotiations, and contract awards.
  • Source and procure equipment, materials, and subcontracted services required for EPC projects.
  • Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and contract compliance.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Project Management, Construction, and Finance teams to meet project requirements.
  • Track procurement progress and mitigate supply chain risks to avoid project delays.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and statutory requirements.
  • Prepare procurement reports, cost analyses, and management updates.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and strategic suppliers.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related field.
  • 15– 20 years of procurement experience, with significant exposure to EPC, infrastructure, energy, oil & gas, or industrial projects.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and vendor development.
  • Proven experience in commercial negotiations and supply chain management.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and MS Office.
  • Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
